Water Conservation
Water-efficient fixtures are the single biggest lever for reducing public restroom environmental impact. Low-flow toilets (using 1.28 gallons per flush vs. 1.6 GPF standard or older 3.5 GPF) reduce consumption significantly. Waterless urinals eliminate flush water entirely. Energy Efficiency

Biodegradable Supplies
Recycled paper toilet paper and paper towels, biodegradable soap formulations and compostable waste bags are increasingly standard in sustainably managed facilities.
