San Antonio is one of Texas's most walkable cities, centered on the River Walk and the historic downtown. Restroom access here is better than in most Texas cities.
The River Walk (Paseo del Rio)
The River Walk has several public restroom facilities along its length, maintained by the City of San Antonio. You will find them near the Commerce Street bridge, near the Arneson River Theatre in La Villita, and at major hotel entrances where the public is generally welcome.
Alamo Plaza
The Alamo complex has restroom facilities for visitors. Hemisfair Park adjacent to the convention center also has public facilities open during park hours.
San Antonio Missions National Historical Park
Each of the four missions on the mission trail (Mission Concepción, Mission San José, Mission San Juan, Mission Espada) has visitor restroom facilities maintained by the National Park Service.
Brackenridge Park
Brackenridge Park near the zoo has public restrooms open during park hours. The San Antonio Zoo itself has extensive restroom facilities for ticketed guests.
Market Square (El Mercado)
San Antonio's historic Market Square has a public restroom facility for visitors. The square is open daily and is one of the largest Mexican markets outside of Mexico.
