Denver sits at a mile high and has an active outdoor culture, which means the city takes restroom access seriously for parks, trails and recreational areas.

16th Street Mall

The 16th Street Mall pedestrian corridor has public restroom facilities at several points along its length. The main facilities are near the Tabor Center end and near the Union Station end.

Civic Center Park

Civic Center Park between the State Capitol and the Denver Art Museum has public restrooms near the Greek Amphitheatre. The park is open daily.

Denver Parks

City Park (home to the Denver Zoo and Museum of Nature and Science), Washington Park and Cheesman Park all have comfort stations. City Park's restrooms are the best-maintained, located near the pavilion area.

Tip: Union Station is the hub of Denver's transit network and has excellent, clean public restrooms accessible to all — no ticket required.

Cherry Creek Shopping Center

Cherry Creek North and the Cherry Creek Shopping Center both have public-accessible restrooms. The outdoor shopping area has convenience stores and coffee shops where restroom access is easy.

Denver Public Library

The Central Library downtown and all branch locations are open to the public during operating hours.
